Germany vs Hungary on Sunday

I`ve been reading this forum a lot lately and want to post a pick which looks somehow like a lock.
Today Germany plays Hungary and the spread is set to 1.5 goals. Hit Germany hard.
The first reason is that it is there last preperation match to the Euro 2004. Some players want to be part of the starting eleven and that means they have to show up tonight.
The second and main reason is that the national coach of Hungary, Matthäus had 22 players declining to play in the match. That means it is not only a second squad playing tonight - it is like a third one.
I remember a couple of years ago Germany played Austria in preperation for WC 2002 and they simply thrashed Austria. Expekt the same to happen tonight. Germany wins with at least 3 or 4 goals.

You can even play Germany -1.5 (-143) and over 2.5 goals (-133) in a parlay.

thanks for posting kingshero, i too sected germany in another thread a few days ago, with a similar rational, albeit with +100 odds. While not a value bet at -143, germans might still be worthwhile, it's moved to -1.5 and -2 at -114 pinnacle, -1.5 at 1.5 at canbet, and ladbrokes still have the highest odds (at least among reputable books) at 1.74.

After todays match I can not imagine that Germany makes it to the second round

Both Spain and Portugal look like safe bets to me for Saturday, but nothing beats the Crotia over Switzerland for safety in my mind.
